An unexpected delight in a small village. Friendly, quirky decoration. Great Vegan Breakfast. Excellent tea. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.
A lovely cosy, friendly little cafe which serves a variety of light bites to more substantial meals. When we visited we had the black & gold burger and it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
Been coming to the Bakehouse for years now. Location is beautiful, wonderful decorating inside and out. Emma and rest of staff are always friendly and very helpful. Food is locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Might have to wait a little if busy, buts will worth it. Refreshing to attend a business that promotes the use of cash
Lovely and welcoming vibrant cafe. The breakfast baguettes are huge and very tasty. Great value for money. They are also doggy friendly which is always a bonus.
BUY THE BAGUETTE, iv never had such value for money and they are amazing ..... we are traveling through the UK and this by far is the best value for money and food from a cafe ....... it's a proper foot long breakfast baguette.
We regularly meet friends here. It never disappoints. Lovely staff; Emma and Jane front of house couldn’t be nicer. The food is always amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The cakes are to die for! Oh and did I mention the hot chocolate???? The decor is adorable, comfortable and entertaining. It’s warm and I atmosphere and temperature. I can’t fault the place.
Tasty food, great decoration, and a sweet cat, Phoebe, sleeping next to the fire. Enjoyable atmosphere with pleasant, home cooked real food.
This is a little jewel in the countryside. A lovely family-run business, with generous portions and the food is delicious. Service is brilliant with very friendly staff, and the location is beautiful. Highly recommended place to stop for lunch or a quick coffee!! Be warned, it can get busy at lunch time!
